Collaborating with Alexia Mellor, we took to a humorous side of performance art, using themes from Grey’s Anatomy and recent tabloids of Britney Spears, combining ideals on family, sex, and marriage. With the personas of Brad (myself) and Felicia (Alexia), we set up a clinic for consultations to patients who wish to visit us. Upon their visit, they were presented with our constant bickering and “dramatic” love issues (on video), revolving around ideals of sex and marriage. Once inside the clinic, we probed and poked our patients with obscene questions until diagnosed. Upon their exit, they were concluded with our rendition of Britney’s “Gimme More” song on a three-channel projection in our recover room.
